New group CEO in LC-Tec
Group,
The Board of LC-Tec Holding has decided to appoint Peter
Grufman as new CEO of LC Tec Group and Managing Director of LC-Tec Holding AB.
Peter Grufman has the last few years been responsible for "Business Area Asia"
with LC-Tec Group’s factory inChina as his
main responsibility. Peter’s new responsibilities are effective immediately and
he succeeds Åke Hörnell who will take on the role as Senior Advisor of LC-Tec Group’s Management Board. At the
same time, Stephen Palmer, MD of LC-Tec Displays has been appointed CTO for all
of LC-Tec’s operations. Lars
Bäcksholm remains as CFO for LC-Tec Group. The Board of LC-Tec Holding

Factory Opening
Ceremony
LC-Tec
International (Shenzen) Ltd., had the “official factory opening ceremony” on
Thursday October 15th 2005.It was a colourful and grand occasion attended by
approximately 120 guests. Among the guests were several Chinese
LCD-manufacturers and suppliers to LC-Tec. LC-Tec’s chairman, Dr. Ake Hornell
held the opening speech where he emphasized that this investment in southern
China is a very important step in the history of LC-Tec. The production is
expected to start during the month of October
